Support Women and Families Affected by Global Conflict

Together, we can help bring warm meals, dignity, and hope to families living through crisis.

WHO WE ARE AND WHY IT MATTERS

WONDERBAG is a social enterprise committed to supporting women and families facing energy poverty, conflict, and climate-related hardship.

Our heat-retention cooking bags reduce the need for firewood and fuel by up to 70% per meal, helping families cook safely while saving time, money, and precious resources.

As climate pressures grow and access to food and fuel becomes increasingly uncertain, simple, practical solutions like the WONDERBAG are more vital than ever.

HOW WE WORK

Established 15 years ago, the WONDERBAG Foundation is funded in part by proceeds from the commercial business, with a portion of every WONDERBAG sold contributing to our work.

In partnership with established humanitarian organisations, including the World Food Programme and the Red Cross, we deliver support to vulnerable communities across Africa and beyond. From poverty-stricken regions in South Africa, Ghana, South Sudan, Somalia, Djibouti, and Burundi to crisis-affected areas such as Gaza, Ukraine, Turkey, Haiti, the USA, and Puerto Rico, our work provides practical, sustainable cooking solutions where they are needed most.

We also work directly with women within these communities to manufacture WONDERBAG bags locally and take on key roles in training, distribution, and programme delivery - strengthening livelihoods while ensuring support reaches those who need it most.

THE IMPACT YOU CAN MAKE

Today, women are often left carrying the responsibility of feeding their families with little or no access to safe cooking, fuel, or energy.

Your support delivers essential aid and support, as well as practical, life-sustaining tools - WONDERBAG bags - that reduce fuel use, keep food warm, and allow families to cook safely with less.

Together, we can bring warm meals, dignity, and hope to communities facing the toughest conditions.
